Learn from and improve sourcing performance over time
Strategies for optimizing the performance of a live sourcing campaign include:
1️⃣ Monitor sourcing performance
Track key metrics like the number of candidates contacted and response rates in the Reports tab. Pay attention to trends over time: if response rates decline or you're seeing fewer qualified candidates, it may be time to optimize calibration or messaging.
2️⃣ Recalibrate regularly
Monitor the quality of sourced candidates by reviewing who gets contacted and evaluating the sourced candidates you interview. If some candidates aren't the right fit, you can recalibrate to refine our AI’s understanding of your criteria. You’ll also want to recalibrate if your target profile changes or if our AI exhausts all candidates who match your current criteria.
Most people find that recalibrating every 1-3 weeks helps sustain optimal sourcing volume and results.
3️⃣ Refine your messaging
To improve engagement rates, test and refine your messaging over time by adjusting your tone, AI personalization instructions, or call-to-action. This is especially important when you recalibrate to target a different candidate profile, as different backgrounds may respond better to different messaging approaches.
4️⃣ Use “Send On Behalf Of” (SOBO)
Studies show that sending outreach on behalf of hiring managers, founders, etc. significantly increases response rates. If you have not already, configure your outreach campaign to send on behalf of a team member, not Max.
5️⃣ Enable auto-advance
Once your Tezi sourcing engine is well-tuned—your sourcing list closely mirrors your preferences and your messaging is landing well with your target audience—turn on auto-advance. Max will automatically source and conduct outreach on your behalf, filling your pipeline with interested, high-quality candidates while you focus on other priorities.
