Create email filters
Set up email filters so Tezi AI agents can manage candidate communication
For 🌱 Lite only
When a sourced prospect replies to outreach, their email is sent to both your email address and a Tezi AI agent’s (i.e., the Tezi email alias set during onboarding). Instead of responding to prospects from your inbox, you’ll manage these emails within Tezi with the help of AI assistants instead.
Setting up a Gmail filter
To avoid accidentally responding in Gmail, create a Gmail filter so these candidate replies skip your inbox and are clearly labeled:
- Open the Filters and Blocked Addresses section of your Gmail settings.
- Select Create a new filter.
- Create a filter for
@hey.tezi.appin theTofield.
- Configure the filtered emails to 1 - skip the inbox and 2 - receive a label.
- Choose or create a helpful label. We recommend “Tezi”.
- Click Create filter.

Setting up an Outlook rule
These instructions cover how to set up a rule in Outlook on the web. If you use a different version of Outlook, the exact steps you’ll need to take will be slightly different. Take a look at Microsoft’s help center to find step-by-step instructions for your version of Outlook.
To avoid accidentally responding in Outlook, create a rule so candidate replies skip your inbox and are clearly labeled:
- Open the Mail > Rules section of your Outlook settings.
- Click Add new rule.
- Set a name for the rule. We recommend “Tezi”.
- Under Add a condition, select Recipient address includes (it’s listed in the Keywords section of the dropdown menu) and add
@hey.tezi.app.
- Under Add an action, set it to Move to and Archive.
- Click Add another action and set it to Categorize. We recommend creating a new category and naming it “Tezi”.
- Click Save.
