Create Gmail filters
Set up Gmail filters so Max can manage candidate communication
For 🌱 Lite only
When a sourced candidate replies to outreach, their email goes to both your email address and Max’s (i.e., the Tezi email alias set during sign-up). Instead of responding to candidates in Gmail, you’ll manage these emails in Tezi with Max’s help instead.
To avoid accidentally responding in Gmail, create a Gmail filter so these candidate replies skip your inbox and are clearly labeled:
- Open the Filters and Blocked Addresses section of your Gmail settings.
- Select Create a new filter.
- Create a filter for
@hey.tezi.appin theTofield.
- Configure the filtered emails to 1 - skip the inbox and 2 - receive a label.
- Choose or create a helpful label. We recommend “Max by Tezi”.
- Click Create filter.
