Create and manage a role
How to open a new role, start role setup, and complete other common role actions
Create a role
- Select the Roles tab.
- Select Add new role.
- Enter a candidate-friendly job title. Tezi will use this title in sourcing outreach, scheduling emails, etc. if you enable those features.
- (Optional) If available, provide the URL to your job description. Tezi will attempt to scrape your JD’s content from the URL as part of Tezi’s AI Max gathering context on the role.
- Add the role.
- You will land in one of the following pages:
- 🌱 Lite: the Job description page as part of guided sourcing setup. If you want to configure other Tezi capabilities instead, close guided setup to use the Role Setup page.
- 💼 Starter, Pro, Business, and Enterprise only: the Role Setup page, where you can configure all of Max’s capabilities.
- 💼 Starter, Pro, Business, and Enterprise only: Reach out to Tezi Support to add multiple job owners (i.e., users with permissions to configure and manage candidates for the role) if needed.
Users with 3rd-party ATS integration: You cannot self-serve creating a new role due to the depth and complexity of Tezi’s ATS integration. Reach out to Tezi Support to connect a new role from ATS.
Lite users: For your first role, you will land directly in step 3 after you initially sign up for Tezi.
