Set up Tezi's Greenhouse integration

With Tezi's Greenhouse integration, you can easily keep your Greenhouse and Tezi data in sync. Key benefits include:

  • Auto-screen your Greenhouse inbound pipeline with Tezi

  • Exclude previously contacted candidates from Tezi's auto-sourcing

  • Incorporate Tezi into your overall recruiting reporting

To set up Tezi's Greenhouse integration, you will need to:

  1. Provide a Greenhouse API key to Tezi. This enables Tezi's service to read and write to Greenhouse, keeping data in sync.

  2. Assign max.tezi@[yourdomain].com an admin seat in Greenhouse. This enables Tezi to provide white-glove support during onboarding and on an ongoing basis.

The steps below must be completed by a Greenhouse admin. Completing them typically takes ~10-15 minutes.

Part 1: Provide a Greenhouse API key to Tezi

  1. Sign in to Greenhouse.

  2. Click here for the API Credentials page.

    1. You can also navigate to this page: Settings icon -> Dev Center -> API Credentials.

  3. Click Create new API key to launch the API key creation flow.

  4. Complete the Create new credential fields:

    1. API type: Harvest

      1. The Harvest API is Greenhouse's API for complex integrations.

    2. Partner: Unlisted Vendor

    3. Description: We recommend "Max by Tezi (autonomous AI recruiting)".
      ​

  5. Click Manage permissions.

  6. On the next screen, copy and store a local copy of the API key.
    ​

  7. On the next screen, in the Manage permissions section, grant Tezi access to all permissions:

  8. Click Save to finalize the new API key.

  9. Send the API key to Tezi Support ([email protected]) via encrypted email.

Part 2: Assign max.tezi@[yourdomain].com a Greenhouse admin seat

In Set up email for Max on your domain, you created max.tezi@[yourdomain].com so that Max can send interview scheduling emails and calendar invites from your company domain. You also sent this service account's login credentials to Tezi Support so that we can better resolve recruiting and technical issues.

In this section, you will assign a Greenhouse admin seat to max.tezi@[yourdomain].com. This helps Tezi provide a smoother Greenhouse integration experience.

If your Greenhouse setup allows users to log in using passwords:

  1. Sign in to Greenhouse.

  2. Click here for the Users page.

    1. You can also navigate to this page: Settings icon -> Users.

  3. Click New Users to launch the user invitation flow.

  4. Complete the Add New Users fields:

    1. Enter user emails: max.tezi@[yourdomain].com

    2. Add interviewer tags: leave this blank

    3. Assign Site Admin permissions

  5. After assigning Site Admin permissions, configure detailed permissions. Tezi Support only needs access to Create and view private candidates and prospects.

  6. Click Send invitation email at the bottom.

  7. Click Save to create the user and send the invitation.

If access to Greenhouse is managed via SSO, IAM systems, or more complex systems:

Please provide Greenhouse admin access to max.tezi@[yourdomain].com through the same steps you would use for a new employee.

​If you cannot provide Tezi with site admin access to Greenhouse:

You will still be able to use Tezi's Greenhouse integration. The main impact of Tezi Support not having direct access to Greenhouse is that we will not be able to self-serve as much of Greenhouse integration setup. Instead, we will reach out to your team for the necessary inputs.
