Changing whether a candidate is managed by Max or managed in your ATS
Changing whether a candidate is managed by Max or managed in your ATS
Updated over 2 weeks ago

If you’re using one of Tezi’s ATS integrations, you have the ability to control whether Max works on a candidate or whether you manage that candidate yourself in your ATS.

  • ATS-managed: Max takes no actions on the candidate

    • For example, Max won’t schedule interviews with the candidate or change their stage in the pipeline.

    • The one exception to this rule is if the candidate emails Max with a question about the role, then Max will respond to answer their question.

  • Max-managed: Max works on the candidate as normal based on how you’ve configured the role in Tezi

Candidates who are ATS-managed will have a label in the pipeline page and on their profile page:

Transitioning a candidate to be ATS-managed or Max-managed

Keep in mind that changing a candidate’s status takes effect immediately. As soon a candidate is set to ATS-managed, Max stops taking any further actions on that candidate.

Pipeline page

  1. Navigate to the Pipeline page and select the appropriate role

  2. Hover over the candidate you want to modify

  3. You should see a 3-dot icon appear in the bottom-right corner of the candidate’s card. Click on the icon

  4. Select either ATS-managed or Max-managed to change their status
